NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI, Japan – On the east side of Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi’s flight line stands a solitary tree surrounded by a thick course rope. It is one of the most well known landmarks of the base because of the mystery that surrounds it.

TOWNSVILLE, AUSTRALIA - Over 100 Officers and Sailors from Strike Fighter Squadron 115 (VFA-115) returned to Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan in April after completing a successful three-week detachment to Townsville, Australia. The Atsugi Japan based F/A-18E Super Hornet squadron flew more than 3,000 nautical miles and where hosted by The No. 4 Squadron of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).

在日米海軍厚木航空施設へ入門する際、16歳以上の方は下記の有効な公的身分証のご持参をお願い致します。本籍記載のある運転免許証 本籍記載がない運転免許証は別途、記載印字票、もしくは本籍が記載された住民票(発行より3ヶ月以内に限る)を一緒にご提示ください。 A Photo ID is required to enter NAF Atsugi for persons 16 years of age and older. Either of the following picture IDs are acceptable for base entry.
