The mission of the Naval District Washington (NDW) Non-Appropriated Fund Human Resource Department is to administer human resource programs for all serviced Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR), Navy Gateway Inns and Suites (NGIS), Bachelor’s Housing (BH) non-appropriated fund employees under the Fleet and Family Readiness Programs for NDW, to include position classification, recruitment, staffing and compensation, employee and labor relations, unemployment and workers compensation, and implementation and standardization of NAF personnel policy.
