Naval Support Activity Washington encompasses the Washington Navy Yard, the oldest military installation in the U.S.; Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling; Naval Research Laboratory; and, the Naval Maritime Intelligence Center. Located in the Nation's Capital, the four installations hosts to many Navy headquarters commands including Commander, Navy Installations Command and Naval District Washington headquarters.
