Mission and Vision
The Commanding Officer, Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads (NSA HR) provides a wide array of fleet, fighter and family support services across Hampton Roads. NSA HR is responsible for base operations at Naval Support Activity Headquarters Complex, Joint Forces Staff College, Lafayette River Annex, Marine Corps Camp Allen, Supply Depot Annex, Northwest Annex, and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. NSA Headquarters Complex is home to Commander in Chief, Joint Staff Hampton Roads; Commander in Chief, U.S. Fleet Forces Command Headquarters; Allied Command for Transformation; Type Commanders for Fleet surface ships and submarines; and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Atlantic. The installation is also host to over 35 Admirals and Generals and their respective headquarters staffs. The Lafayette River Compound is home to Commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic. Northwest Annex is located in Chesapeake, Virginia and home to 11 commands that includes Center for Anti-Terrorism and Naval Security Forces; Marine Corps Security Force Training Company and Coast Guard Communication Area Master Station Atlantic.
