MISSION
Provide effective and efficient support from the shore through flawless
execution of tasking and provision of requisite facilities to ensure
world-class operational, logistical, command and control, and administrative
support to U.S., NATO and other Coalition forces.
VISION
NAS Sigonella (NASSIG) will be the premier installation in the Commander,
Navy Region Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia (CNEURAFSWA) Area of
Responsibility (AOR) through sustained provision of full-spectrum
shorefighting capacities and capabilities to U.S., NATO and Coalition
forces. Through unmatched professionalism and a focus on innovation, NASSIG
will retain, and strengthen, its unique position as the preeminent
operational and logistical support Base in the Mediterranean – the “Hub of
the Med.” Never forgetting that Sailors are the Navy’s most precious
resource, NASSIG will provide the resources necessary to train, retain and
empower the next generation of leaders while providing their families with
the highest Quality of Life in the Navy.
