The Center for Personal and Professional Development Command oversees all Navy College Office operations. There are approximately 30 Navy College Offices throughout the world assisting active duty and family members who desire to further their education and achieve a college degree. We can help you too!
Navy College Office on Naval Air Station Whidbey Island is located within the Naval Operational Support Center, Bldg. 2739, Room 134. When you enter the building, turn immediately to your right. Our office is right behind the Quarter Deck.
We oversee the on base college preparatory and college level programs for adults with base access. Our operation includes over site of the tuition assistance funding program for active duty and full-time reservists, on-base colleges and degree programs, command orientation services for the Navy College - Program Afloat College Education, counseling, and testing services.
We have two top quality colleges on board the base who offer both in-seat and on-line courses and degrees. In addition we also host periodic visits from several Navy Distance Learning Partner schools who meet with interested students in our Resource Center (Building 2739, Room 141). Our unique partnership with on-base and distance learning colleges enables us to provide a comprehensive, well-rounded educational experience. Pre-college courses, technical and traditional degrees are available.
