Welcome to Commander, Navy Region Hawaii

Navy Region Hawaii oversees the U.S. Navy's largest and most strategic island base in the Pacific. The Navy region extends over 23,000 acres of land and water on Oahu and Kauai and serves as the host for the headquarters of seven major Navy commands, including the Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet.

Military service members and select high-school seniors are recognized as 2013 appointees to service academies and academy preparatory schools during the 28th Annual Hawaii Military Recognition Luncheon at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, May 9. Students at Aliamanu Elementary School show appreciation for military service members during a military appreciation event. The event included a parade by the students as well as singing by each grade level, May 10. Sailors compete in a fire truck pull exercise during a fitness and health fair outside of the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Fitness Center, May 15.
