Welcome Aboard!
NAS Kingsville is the proud home of Training Air Wing TWO, which trains Navy, Marine Corps and allied nation pilots in the jet/strike syllabus. NAS Kingsville trains 50 percent of all Navy and Marine Corps jet/strike aviators each year using the Boeing T-45 Goshawk aircraft.
NAS Kingsville was commissioned on 04 JULY 1942 - a little more than six months after the attack on Pearl Harbor and the U.S. entry into World War II. The base was placed in a caretaker status after the war, but in 1951 - as the Korean War grew the need for Navy and Marine Corps pilots grew and NAS Kingsville was reopened. Since then, NAS Kingsville has continued to train the finest Navy and Marine Corps pilots for their roles in the fleet protecting the American way of life.
